The Story of Barako Home Care

Nyima Sanyang, founder of Barako Home Care arrived in US in 2002. Her daughter was diagnosed with a heart condition at birth. The care that she received in the hospital encouraged her to pursue her career in nursing. She has 20+ yrs. of experience in nursing, take care of numerous loved ones at UW.

During her time at the hospital, she saw how the love and care can transform an individual’s health and give them a purpose for life. It can transform lives, if this care can be given at home.

With this vision win mind, she started Barako home care services. Barako means home, blessings. She and her team aims at giving family like care to the elderly, physically and cognitively disabled individuals.
